What is Karndean made of? |

Karndean flooring is made up of pure PVC with high quality plasticizers and is manufactured to create a textured surface which replicates the natural products. |

Will a Karndean floor be slippery? |

As with most smooth floorcoverings, water and other liquids on the surface of the floor can make them slippery. Karndean floors do have high levels of non-slip properties but to prevent slipping clean up any spillages immediately and keep the floor dry. |

Can I fit Karndean myself? |

Due to the complexity of the product, Karndean is not promoted as a DIY product and we recommend that it is only installed by our professional fitters. |

Where can Karndean be laid in my home? |

Karndean flooring can be laid in any room in your home including the bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, living/dining room, hallway, conservatory plus any room that you wish. |

Can Karndean be laid in a conservatory? |

Yes, it is possible to install Karndean in rooms where temperature extremes are likely to occur. A Karndean High Temperature Adhesive or Epoxy must be used. |

Is Karndean suitable for use on walls or ceilings? |

No. Karndean is a floor covering therefore it is not recommended to be laid anywhere apart from the floor |

Due to the nature of the product and the complexity of fitting Karndean, we would advise not to. Purchasing Karndean over the internet would be at your own risk and it is necessary to have the product professionally installed in order to maintain its guarantee. |
